We had lunch at El Cubanito today. I really enjoy the hearty, home cooked taste of albondigas, black beans and rice and fried plantains on a cold day. Obviously, Fidel could also benefit from a decent meal.
The first time I saw that Fidel skeleton I flipped out. At that time I had five days living in the U.S. and I though that that was very agressive. Now, I don't care....
The purpose of this blog is to tell stories about Tucson through my own personal lens and provide "reviews" that have nothing to do with paid advertising or even tourism councils. Being a scholar of what you could call Hispanic Cultural Studies at the University of Arizona, I tend to write with an eye towards the Latin-flavored cultural phenomenons of Tucson and surrounding areas.
BTW, if you are interested in writing a post for Tucson Querido, I'm happy to post contributors!
